Fiji Medical Camps

During 2007, a two week medical camp was provided to Fiji with over 40 medical and allied personnel participating. Volunteers from Australia, New Zealand and the USA participated and provided free medical care.

During July of 2008, a one week medical camp was conducted between 11-18 July, 2008. This was preceded by a one day symposium-conference on Medical Care on 11 July at the Uma Prasad School of Medicine, Fiji University.

The Sai Medical Unit has continued to provide medical service to Fiji in the form of annual camps and providing speakers and presentations to the Medical Conference. Medical Students from the Uma Prasad School of Medicine, University of Fiji accompany the Sai Medical Unit on its visits.
