Registration for 2019 Sai MediCare Camp – Vanua Levu, Fiji is now open.
WHEN and WHERE?
Dates of the medical service event are: 10 August 2019 – 18 August 2019
Four days of free medical camps will be conducted on Fiji’s second largest island, Vanua Levu in the regional areas near township of Labasa.
Schedule of Sai Medicare Camp in August, 2019 will be as follows:
Saturday, 10 – Team flys from AU / NZ to Nadi, Fiji
Sunday, 11 – Team flys from Nadi-to-Labasa situated on the second largest island of Vanua levu
Monday, 12 to Thursday, 15 – Free Sai medical camps in regional/rural areas near Labasa township
Fri day,16 – Team flys from Labasa to Nadi, Viti Levu. Medical conference at UPSM, University of Fiji (recognised for CPD points)
Saturday, 17 – Rest/recreation day in Nadi
Sunday, 18 – Team leave for home flying back to AU / NZ
In addition, the Sai Medical Unit surgical team, over the course of the aforementioned period, will be working at Labasa General Hospital.
Accommodation: Arrangement at the hotel in Labasa will be on twin share basis due to limited availability of rooms. Over the course of stay in Vanua Levu, the Sai MediCare team will travel daily from Labasa to the regional camp-sites.

Due to an ever-increasing demand to participate in this medical service project from all around Australia and New Zealand, it is recommended you submit your registration details online as soon as possible. It is likely the total number of members participating in the 2019 Sai MediCare camp will be capped to 60 individuals for logistics purposes.
A selection process will be utilised if the number of registered applicants for this camp exceed the logistic limit. Also, the registration date may close earlier if the Sai Medical Unit has enough applicants.
